On Friday (October 1st), Christie auctioned five of Entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk's artworks that were created for his VeeFriends NFT collection.

● Christie's live auction was held in New York City that promoted the auction house's foray into digital art sales.

● Vaynerchuk's VeeFriends Collection comprises 10,255 non-fungible tokens.

So, yes! You heard it right. Christie auctioned five of Gary Vaynerchuk's artworks made for his VeeFriends NFT collection that was sold for $1.2 million. Oh, my sweet Lord!

Most of the NFTs auctioned by Christie is either NFT minted or Blockchain verified, but these particular artworks of Vaynerchuk are undoubtedly the original characters that were hand-drawn by himself.

Vaynerchuk's VeeFriends Collection was launched in May, he has become a significant influencer in the NFT space since then. The VeeFriends Collection comprises over 10,255 character non-fungible tokens that are available for purchase via the cryptocurrency 'Ethereum'.

The lowest price listed for a VeeFriend remains over $50,000.

Vaynerchuk's Doodle Collection comprised the 'Gratitude Gorilla', 'Diamond Hands', 'Empathetic Elephant', 'Tremendous Tiger', and the 'You're gonna Die, Fly'.

The 'Empathetic Elephant' fetched the highest price at Christie's auction that was sold for $412,500 while the lowest one to be sold was for $162,500 (Diamond Hands).

Tiktok Will Be Auctioning Its First-Ever NFTs Collection Featuring Lil Nas X

Oh, yes! It's true that Tiktok is now joining hands with creators and artists like Lil Nas X,  Rudy Willingham, Bella Poarch, and Curtis Roach to release its first non-fungible tokens (NFTs) collectibles. TikTok's top moments will feature six original NFT videos from the creators. The TikTok creators will be working with the established NFT creators like Coin Artist, Grimes, and others for limited edition NFTs.

Tiktok also says that the returns from the sales of these NFTs will go directly to the creators and artists. Well, how cool is that?

Tiktok has announced the launch of the collection of NFTs called Tiktok Top Moments via a post on its community page that will feature six of the culturally significant Tiktok videos as NFTs featuring artists and creators including Lil Nas X, Rudy Willingham, Bella Poarch, Curtis Roach, Brittney Broski, Jess Marciante, and Gary Vaynerchuk. The sale is to begin on October 6th. This collection of Tiktok videos will be shown at the Museum of The Moving Image in Queens, New York starting from October 1st to November 5th.

Twitter Allows Tipping Feature To Its Users Through Bitcoins 

Your newsfeeds might be flooded with news like 'Twitter enables tipping with Bitcoin', 'Twitter accelerates with Bitcoin Tipping', and what not! But is all of this really true? Let's find out!

Twitter is now allowing its users to tip their favorite content creators in Bitcoin. This tipping feature is now expanding globally. This feature can help creators monetize their content on the platform as well. 

This tipping feature was introduced as a test feature by Twitter back in May. The company announced that this 'Tips' feature is currently available only for Apple/IOS users but it will roll out globally to Android users as well in the coming few weeks.

Besides Bitcoin, Twitter will enable its users to connect nine traditional payment providers to their profiles to accept tips. The payment providers include Venmo and Cash App. Here, it is to be noted that Twitter itself is not processing any payments. It has partnered up with platform 'Strike' to facilitate Bitcoin transfers. 

How will it work? 

Twitter will notify the people whenever they receive a Bitcoin tip via Strike. This will let them respond to the tipper quickly and thank them for the lovely gesture. Twitter is efficient enough to make a record of the creator's tips to keep track in the form of invoices.
