NFT Artwork Shines Bright at Sotheby's Second 3AC Sale, Netting $10.9M
Sotheby's second auction of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from the collection of the now-defunct crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) has generated an astounding $10.9 million. The sale, which took place on June 15th, featured a wide variety of NFTs, including artworks, collectibles, and games.
The highlight of the sale was a piece of artwork called "The Goose", which was created by Dmitri Cherniak and sold for $6.2 million. "The Goose" is a generative artwork, which means that it was created using a computer algorithm. The artwork features a flock of geese flying through a pixelated landscape.

Other notable NFTs that sold well at the auction included Tyler Hobbs' Fidenza #479, which sold for $622,300, and Snowfro's Chromie Squiggle #1780, which sold for $635,000. Both of these artworks are also generative artworks.

Rocky Horror Goes Web3
The Rocky Horror Show is getting a Web3 makeover! Online Blockchain plc, a blockchain research and development company, has acquired the rights to The Rocky Horror Show's intellectual property and is creating a collection of NFTs to celebrate the show's iconic characters and themes.
The first NFT in the collection, called TimeWarp, will be released on OpenSea today at 8am ET. TimeWarp features the classic "blood drip" font associated with stage production and will be limited to 50 editions. Holders of TimeWarp will also receive a free character pack, which includes NFT renditions of Frank-N-Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff, and more.
Online Blockchain CEO Clem Chambers says that TimeWarp is just the beginning of an exciting Web3 storyline centered around Rocky Horror. He hints that there may be a Rocky Horror metaverse in the works, but only time will tell. Read more…
